The Copper Pan
Soho · London

Cooking worth
crossing town for, from one good pan.

A small dining room, a short menu, and a kitchen that believes eight dishes done properly beat forty done adequately. Counter seats face the pan. Come hungry.

Candlelight, copper, and not much else.

Everything that leaves the kitchen has spent time in the pan the place is named after: a burnished copper pan, older than the head chef, seasoned by every service since. The menu changes with the market; the pan does not.

Twenty-two seats, most of them at the counter, where dinner comes with the sound of butter meeting heat. No music you have to shout over; six bottles we like, two by the glass. Wheelchair accessible, wifi throughout, a handful of outdoor tables, and a private dining nook that seats eight.

Twenty-two seats. Book ahead.

We take bookings only through Just Ask Today, where the Copper Pan Concierge holds our diary. Parties of up to eight, two hours’ notice, up to 90 days ahead; no deposit, free cancellation until four hours before, confirmed instantly. And because this is our demonstration venue, you can try the whole flow without ever owing anyone dinner.

Why a restaurant that isn’t real?

The Copper Pan is a working demonstration of the Neural Agents partner programme. A real partner hides a voucher code somewhere on their real website, usually the page they most want people to read, like the menu above. Just Ask Today users come looking for it, and a visit only counts (and only costs the partner anything) when the code is redeemed in the bot.

You just did the customer half: you read a menu properly because something was hidden in it. That attention is what partners are buying, at £0.10 a verified visit.
